The official list below only shows time periods that are reserved and not confirmed exams. Check with your instructor if the course will have its final exam in this period.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists the locations where DEP conducts operator qualification tests. Exam pages for each exam are available for additional guidelines, terms and conditions and exam content. If you require special accommodations due to chronic disease, visual or hearing impairment, or any other disability, contact the exam provider and provide detailed information when you register.

The Faculty Dashboard in Workday includes an option to "View My Teaching Schedule" which lets faculty discover their exam schedules. The Registrar's Office also has a list with exam times for classes that must take an exam as per NYSED regulations. Final exams for classes that are held in the evenings are scheduled for the regular class time of the final examination weeks.

Registration

Students are advised to check the exam schedule online. However it is important to keep in mind that the final exam schedule can be altered at any time. For this reason, students should consult their instructors to ensure that they have the correct date and time for their exam. Students should also print out the official list of questions to bring with them to their exam.


Students must also familiarize themselves with the rules and conditions of the exam, in addition to the exam schedule. They are available on the exam's individual page. Students acknowledge that they have read and agree to the terms and conditions upon registration.

Exam sites make every effort to accommodate those with special requirements. The nature and the extent of these requirements should be stated on the registration form and verified by a doctor's attestation. Additionally the exam sites must respect and maintain confidentiality.

If a student has three examinations scheduled for the same day it is recommended to contact their instructor or department to arrange a make-up exam. It is possible to have three examinations on the same day. However, this could lead to a high level of stress and can affect the quality of the exam. Additionally, the instructor may not be able to offer a makeup exam on another day.

Before taking the test, students must prepare by studying their syllabus and practice their German skills. The test is a written test that tests your ability to read, speak, and write German. The results of the test are presented using a scale ranging from A1 to C2. Students who pass the exam receive a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies the that they have achieved the level of A1 in their language. This level is the first stage of the six-level scale of competence outlined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. Fees

If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to receive an Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you'll need to pay the examination fee. This fee is in addition to the course fee.

Practice assessments provide you with an overview of the style of the questions, their wording and the difficulty of the questions on the exam. They help you evaluate your level, discover gaps in your knowledge and increase your chances of passing the exam.

Please note that the exam fee isn't refundable. Exam results are only emailed and not via telephone.
